I Ordered Her Extra Flower Girl Gifts

Tuesday, February 23rd, 2010

Our wedding invitations were posted to our relatives and other loved ones as soon as I had them selected. When everyone had responded with RSVP cards, I started to seek out the right wedding attire for my bridesmaids and I. This was my 2nd wedding and with the primary one, I didn’t have the opportunity to own a huge reception, this point I am doing it up well. We are obtaining married in a very massive cathedral with all our friends and family close to celebrate with us. I’ll have a maid of honor and all my brides maids, with my own little daughter as my flower girl. This wedding and reception goes to be everything the first one wasn’t.

I went on-line looking for a few options on wedding ceremony decors and reception supplies, and I ran across alot. All kinds of things, like clothing and flower girl gifts, were ready to be obtained. This marriage ceremony was going to be any thing I had ever dreamed of, so a fairytale decorum seemed appropriate. I found a great set of unity and taper candles to go with a precious drape tulle for the pews, and those were the primary things I purchased. I additionally tested the hair accessories they’d and found myself a gorgeous tiara for my big day. I chose a picture album with a storybook design to it to place all of the wedding pictures in. Since I knew I’d have to have an straightforward method to stay track of gifts in order to send out thank yous in a timely fashion, I picked out an attractive ‘register’ book for our guests that had an identical pen.

Planning out and buying things for the reception banquet was after that on the list after the supplies for the ceremony had been bought. I purchased a castle wedding cake toppers, which was very rather fine and a cake server set that matched up with the storybook style also. Of course, from the place card holders to the stylish champange flutes, all of the product I got had a storybook design. As wedding favors for our guests and family we gave out little coach wedding candles that came in their own ornamental boxes. When I was completed getting the whole thing for the reception hall and also the table settings, I moved on to groomsmen gifts, bridesmaid gifts and checked out the gifts for flower girl and ring bearer. There were some very cute personalized flower girl gifts to choose from, like the limited tee shirt transfer that says flower girl. Considering there have been ring bearer gifts that were tee shirt transfers, too, I decided to purchase them a matching set to show my appreciation. I must admit I could have gone a little overboard on the flower girl ring bearer gifts, I ended up obtaining them each 3 little gifts, but I couldn’t help myself. The 2 of them were simply priceless, and my baby girl is my whole world so I had to do something perfect for her.

The wedding made me feel so exceptional that it very was like existing during a fairytale. The first wedding I had pales in comparison to the current one. The honeymoon was pretty nice too, we had a cruise to the Hawaiian islands and need to pay five wonderful days in the sun, swimming, snorkeling and just enjoying the wonder of the islands. My mind was on my daughter, however, and as much I liked the islands, it absolutely was good to urge back to her.

However once we did get back, I had a heap to do. Obviously, 1st on my list was filling out and shipping thank you cards to any or all of our friends and relations that were at the wedding ceremony. Devoid of our loved ones and relatives all over to take part in our celebration, it would never have been so very good.

Choosing the Right wedding photo album!

Monday, November 30th, 2009

I started shopping for my themed accessories and supplies as soon as we were sure we were having a beach wedding. The first thing to get was the invitations for our beach themed wedding. I made sure I had plenty of extra invitations, just in case I had to rewrite some of them, and it’s a good thing I did. After I got the invitations out of the way, my next step was finding the right dress for a beach wedding. With all the selections of beautiful beach dresses and wedding gowns, I had a difficult time deciding what I wanted to wear. I fell in love with two of the floor length gowns, but wasn’t quite sure if it would be uncomfortable to wear to a beach wedding. I picked out a gorgeous spaghetti strapped dress made of satin and lace with beautiful little beads scattered around it, in a knee length.

The bridesmaids wore lovely little linen halter beach dresses with a crocheted bodice covering. All the groomsmen wore linen white shirts and sand colored pants and my husband, to be looked so handsome in his blue linen shirt and white pants. Our flower girl wore an adorable little sundress and the ringboy stayed nice and cool in his little khaki shorts and white cotton shirt. Everyone in the wedding party looked fantastic and the bouquets were absolutely the most beautiful arrangements I could have found.

With all the pictures I wanted taken of our wedding ceremony and reception, maybe I should have bought two wedding albums. I expect photos of every person here and everything at our wedding including our reception and the beautiful beach décor. Pictures of our satin canopy and flowered arch where we stood to take our vows was a definite must. Directly after the ceremony we left to change into more suitable beach wear for the reception party. Some of the bridesmaids and groomsmen wore their swim wear under their wedding clothes, and some went home to change. I wrote on all the invitations to dress in casual clothing for this wedding.

Our reception was such a big success, and everyone complimented us on our gorgeous wedding accessories and how lovely all of our tables were. I bought everything for our tables at the same place I bought our lovely beach themed wedding album. I found the cutest little beach chairs as place card holders that they can use for their favorite little photo later. I think our friends and family thought they were cute, I know I did. They also had beach wedding favors that I just had to have for our guests. We bought them little tea lights in the shape of sand castles to represent our oceanside reception. I found quite a bit of accessories and decorations for our beach themed reception tables and the bride and groom table as well. They had the perfect crystal stemware, serving set for the wedding cake, wine glasses and a gorgeous beach themed cake topper.

Some of the guests were commenting on the gorgeous décor of our reception tables. I added some tiki torches everywhere and put gel candles on all of our guests wedding reception tables to help add a touch of atmosphere to everything. Planning this beach wedding and reception was a lot easier than I thought it would be, with all the accessories and supplies they had. Everything was like a dream come true, with the beautiful ocean waves and the warm summer sands as our wedding chapel and reception location.

Every once in a while I take out our beach themed leather wedding photo album and remember our special day.

Some of the Best Wedding Toasting Flutes I’ve seen!

Saturday, November 28th, 2009

My fiance and I set the date for our wedding in January, because I had my heart set on a winter wonderland ceremony and reception. More than enough products are available to help fulfill any bride’s wish for a wedding with a winter genre. If you’re going with any kind of themed ceremony or reception at all, you will find loads of alternatives to pick from when you get around to shopping for gifts, invitations, and other products you’ll need. The colors at our wedding centered around silver and an icy blue. We also had fake snow and lovely candles at the altar, including our winter themed unity candle. The ceremony had a lovely, pristine look to it.
The white tableclothes at our reception looked lovely next to the red table runners on each table. In the middle of each reception table sat freshly cut white orchids inside of a glimmering silver vase, and it all went with the wintery ambiance wonderfully. Our reception place card holders were ornaments that looked like little snowballs. Not only are they beautiful card holders but they are awesome little ornaments as well. Everyone one received toasting flutes and champagne bottles favors from us as a token of our appreciation. As thank yous, champagne toasting glasses are hard to beat. All of our tables were magnificently set up and shined with all the glitter and glamour of the winter time. We had a wedding cake with three layers; underneath it was a cake stand in the form of a sled, and above it was a cake topper made out of porcelain in the form of a snowflake. I picked out the cake serving set on the net, and it had wintery designs on it, too. The handles had little snowflakes done in white and wintry blue colors. It fit in seamlessly with the pen and guestbook set I had purchased.
The handles on the personalized toasting flute matched the sign in book and cake serving set we had, all with winter designs. The other things on our wedding table went perfectly with them, and they were designed with a wintery blue and white look with snowflakes mixed in. The people who attended our reception liked the presents and place card holders they brought home with them, and the banquet hall looked just gorgeous. The mini tiara our flower girl wore was hers to keep, and we got her a necklace besides, which she was very pleased about. Our ring bearer was excited because he got his own tee shirt and a yo-yo made of stainless steel. For my bridesmaids I chose tank tops with bridesmaid written across in in crystals and for my maid of honor I picked out a maid of honor shirt and a crystal bracelet. The men’s presents were handled by my groom. The guys that stood up in our wedding all got digital clocks, with the best man got his own mug and pen set. It was pretty obvious by the way everyone was laughing and dancing that they were really enjoying themselves at our wedding reception, a quite a few of them thanked us for the lovely gifts we had bought for them as wedding favors.
The array of wedding materials I found on the net made our ceremony and reception a dream come true, for both of us. By finding deals on the web, we were able to come in under our budget. It wasn’t just wedding items, either; I got plenty of things for the honeymoon as well. Like the bride and groom hats and tee shirts and the cute little door hanger pillow that says do not disturb. We got plenty of use out of that pillow.

I LOVE these Personalized Toasting Flutes!

Friday, November 27th, 2009

We picked January for the wedding day since I have always wanted a wedding that had a winter motif. There are so many beautiful accessories and reception supplies to make the perfect wintery wedding dream come true. Presents, invitations, reception supplies – you name it, there are all sorts of things out there for any type of wedding decor. We went with a cool blue and silver look to our ceremony. We also had fake snow and lovely candles at the altar, including our winter themed unity candle. It was a magical wedding.
All of the reception tables had red table runners and white tablecloths. We put shimmering silver vases in the center of each table and filled them with lovely white orchids, and they matched the winter theme to a tee. Our reception place card holders were ornaments that looked like little snowballs. Not only are they beautiful card holders but they are awesome little ornaments as well. To express our gratitiude for their coming to our special day, we got our relatives and other loved ones champagne bottles favors and matching toasting flutes. As thank yous, wedding toasting flutes are hard to beat. When you looked at our reception tables, all you could think of was the pristine majesty of the wintertime. Our three tiered wedding cake sat on a unique little sled designed cake stand and had a topper that was a porcelain snowflake to complete our winter wedding cake. The artwork on the serving set for our cake, that I purchased over the Internet, also had a winter look to it. The handles had little snowflakes done in white and wintry blue colors. It fit in seamlessly with the pen and guestbook set I had purchased.
For the special toasting flute, we had beautifully designed winter wedding themed flutes with handles that were exactly like the cake server set and guestbook. The other things on our wedding table went perfectly with them, and they were designed with a wintery blue and white look with snowflakes mixed in. Our reception guests loved the place card holders and other gifts that they received, and the look of the tables was to die for. The mini tiara our flower girl wore was hers to keep, and we got her a necklace besides, which she was very pleased about. The ring boy thought the ring bearer tee shirt and stainless steel yoyo was pretty cool. I got my maid of honor a bracelet made of crystal, and all of my bridesmaids received tank tops with their names written on them in small crystals. My new husband decided to handle buying the groomsmen’s gifts. He bought a best man mug and a neat pen set for the best man, and everyone else received a battery-operated digital clock. I could tell that all of our friends and family were having a fantastic time at the reception and they all seemed to like the little favors and gifts we bought for them.
The products I discovered on the Internet made our wedding day everything I dreamed it could be. The prices that we found on the Internet were so good that we saved a significant amount of money by looking there. It wasn’t just wedding items, either; I got plenty of things for the honeymoon as well. We got a ‘Do Not Disturb’ pillow to hang on our doorknob, along with hats and shirts for newlyweds. The decorative little pillow really came in handy.

Themed Favors!

Friday, November 27th, 2009

I really like a theme wedding. They truly can be a lot of fun. I just went to one of the best weddings and receptions I’ve ever attended. It was a country western themed ceremony.
A quaint little country church was the location of the wedding ceremony. It was really quite lovely with lots of flowers and candles around the altar, and satin bows and ribbons connected at the end of the pews. The bridesmaids and flower girl wore gorgeous baby blue dresses with flowered hair pieces. The little ring boy was adorable in his little tux, and the groomsmen were very handsome in theirs, with the white boutonnieres in the lapels. But all eyes were focused on the elegant bride and groom. They were a picure perfect couple. After the ceremony the bride and groom left the church in a horse drawn buggy.
Since they chose a ranch to buy as their first home, they thought that would be the perfect place to hold the reception. It was a lovely home with a couple of acres and a barn for their horses they planned on having. I hate to admit it, but I’m a little jealous of all they have accomplished just starting out.
You could tell at one glance how hard she worked at setting this reception in motion. It was absolutely perfect. Each checkered tablecloth had centerpieces of wild flowers in little metal buckets. She did a fantastic job, not just with the décor, but also the theme wedding favors. White christmas lights mixed in with a few lanterns completely encircled the picnic tables. The corn stalks and bales of hay really made this the perfect picture of a down home reception. They made sure there were plenty of things the kids would enjoy as well as the adults. Some of the kids were bobbing for apples while others were into a wild game of horse shoes, and still others were trying their hand at line dancing. It was great fun for everyone.
They had a gorgeous cake with a funny country western cake topper that gave everyone a good laugh. The cutest cake topper I’ve ever seen. The western themed champagne flutes were really unique. And on each and every table she had little cowboy hats that were used as place card holders. Everyone thought they were so cute.
There were so many delicious dishes served at the reception. Since this was more like a country barbecue, there was plenty choices of meats, salads and vegetables. There was more than enough to eat. It was a great reception, plenty to eat, great tunes to dance to and games to keep the kids happy for hours. The country western theme was a blast.
Another fun reception is a beach party reception. A beach wedding ceremony is one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. You can feel the romance in the air as the sun sets on the horizon. It’s like a romantic novel with the crashing of waves and the warm gentle breeze all around you. If I ever get married, I think this is the type of ceremony and reception I would want to have.
The bridesmaids looke so nice in their linen summer dresses and the groomsmen were quite handsome in their drawstring pants and linen shirts. Her gorgeous crepe bridal dress was as blue as the ocean waters, and his white linen attire made him even more handsome than he already was. You couldn’t ask for a more perfect ceremony than this wonderful dream wedding.
Their reception was more than elegant too. All the tables were decorated with the beach theme in mind. The centerpieces were little trays filled with sand and two large pillar candles with seashells, starfish and orchids all around them. Her crystal champagne glasses had beach themed stems and her place card holders were little seashells.
She had everything in a beautiful beach décor, from her wedding cake topper to the wonderful theme wedding cakes she had put together. This was a ceremony and reception I will never forget.

The Search For Summer Wedding Ideas!

Wednesday, November 18th, 2009

I didn’t have as many problems planning an outside wedding as I thought I would. It wasn’t as expensive as an indoor wedding would have been. Since we had the flowers and mother nature everywhere, I didn’t have to spend a lot of money on decorations. The first thing on my agenda was to find that perfect place to hold our summer wedding and reception party. I could have had our wedding ceremony on the beach, with a fun filled beach party reception, or an elegant garden party, but I chose a ceremony and reception in the park. I found several perfect parks that would work fine for our wedding day.

I decided to go online and get some expert advice on how to plan the perfect outdoor wedding. If you’re going to have your ceremony outside, it’s a good idea to have an alternative plan just in case the weather turns on you. It’s a good idea to have a tent ready to continue your ceremony if it becomes necessary.

In our original wedding preparations, we had a lovely canopy set up for the reception and a lovely trellis for our ceremony. The only real decorations I needed were those for my wedding table and the guests reception tables. About all I needed were a extra flowers and my table settings, thanks to the already present beauty of the park. By using artificial flowers I thought we may be able to avoid any univited guests, like bees. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous and didn’t look artificial at all. Although planning wasn’t as difficult a chore as I thought, there were quite a few things to take care of. You have to make sure your cake is safe from the summer sun, make sure you have citronella candles at your reception and that your tent has nearby rest room areas. [Summer weddings are wonderful, but the heat can wreak havoc on your wedding cake.

I found very decorative favor boxes and used them to package the chrome bottle openers we bought for our friends and family as a summer wedding favor. The most beautiful part of our wedding table was our cake with it’s gorgeous wedding cake topper.

I saw this cake topper when I was checking out all the wedding accessories they had to offer, and I knew this was the topper I wanted. They were customized toppers for the wedding couple. They put our faces on our cake topper, and all I had to do was send them a photo of me and my fiance. How could I ask for a better wedding keepsake than that? Our friends and family were really loved the cake topper and gave us a lot of compliments on it. Our crystal champagne flutes and silver cake serving set was just a few of the fantastic accessories I ordered for our ceremony and reception. You wouldn’t believe all the nice accessories you can buy online.

It was the perfect wedding and reception, just like I had hoped for. Plan B never had to be used, since the weather was so beautiful, and thankfully it remained that way through the whole evening. We had a wonderful DJ that I’m sure, kept the music going long after we left for our honeymoon. There were many good comments about our beautiful wedding ceremony and fun filled reception party we had. I’m so glad I decided to go with a wedding in the park. If we should decide somewhere down the line to have a renewal wedding ceremony, I think I’d like to have it in the park again.

Finding the right summer wedding ideas!

Wednesday, November 18th, 2009

Planning an outside wedding wasn’t as difficult as I thought it would be. It turns out that it was a lot cheaper in cost than it would have been to have an indoor wedding. Since we had the flowers and mother nature everywhere, I didn’t have to spend a lot of money on decorations. The first thing I had to do was to find the perfect location to have our summer wedding and reception. I thought about a super beach wedding and reception, or maybe have it in a gorgeous garden, but I decided to have our ceremony and reception in the park. I was surprised at all the parks available for weddings.

I decided to go online and get some expert advice on how to plan the perfect outdoor wedding. When you plan to be married in the great outdoors, it seems you have to have a backup plan just in case the weather turns from sunny to pouring buckets. So we arranged to have a tent set up to move the ceremony into if necessary, just as a precaution.

We had canopies arranged for our reception and barring bad weather, planned to be wed under a lovely trellis. I only had to get decorations for my bridal table and the reception tables for our friends and family. With the park as our main theme, I basically had to make sure I had our table settings and maybe throw in a few extra bouquets of flowers. By using artificial flowers I thought we may be able to avoid any univited guests, like bees. The only way you could tell that the flowers were artificial, was by touch, they were beautiful. Planning this wedding wasn’t all that hard, but there was a little more than I expected. Even though some summer wedding invitations are fantastic, the heat can totally destroy your gorgeous wedding cake.

I found quite a few terrific accessories that I could use for the reception. As centerpieces for our reception tables I used citronella votive candles and place them in glass globes with flowers around them, and used park bench place card holders for each guest. The chrome bottle openers we bought for our guests were packaged in beautiful favors boxes and given out as a summer favor. For our wedding table, of course, was our fabulous wedding cake with a very unique wedding cake topper.

I saw this cake topper when I was checking out all the wedding accessories they had to offer, and I knew this was the topper I wanted. They were especially customized for the bride and groom. After I sent them a head shot of my fiance and myself they made our bride and groom topper to look exactly like us. What a wonderful momento of our wedding day. Our friends and family were really loved the cake topper and gave us a lot of compliments on it. Our crystal champagne flutes and silver cake serving set was just a few of the fantastic accessories I ordered for our ceremony and reception. It was amazing all the super accessories you can buy online.

It was the perfect wedding and reception, just like I had hoped for. Plan B never had to be used, since the weather was so beautiful, and thankfully it remained that way through the whole evening. We all loved the super DJ and the fantastic job he was doing, and if I’m right, he probably kept the music and dancing going on for quite a while after we left to go on our honeymoon. Everyone commented on what a lovely ceremony and super reception we had. I couldn’t have picked a better place than the park for our wedding ceremony and reception party. If we should decide somewhere down the line to have a renewal wedding ceremony, I think I’d like to have it in the park again.

Amazing Ring Bearer Pillows!

Wednesday, November 18th, 2009

When it came to the flower girl baskets, ring bearer pillows and reception supplies, I took my mom’s advice and went shopping online. I just placed my order and they delivered them, and it sure was better than running from store to store. She was right, I even found the perfect wedding invitations to send out, and some other accessories, all at reasonable prices. Besides the invitations, I got a lot of accessories for the ceremony, at a much lower cost than I expected. I saved on items like wedding tiaras for my bridesmaids, flower girl, and also bought my bridal tiara, flower girl basket, flower petals and checked out some great ring bearer pillow wedding suggestions. I was amazed at all the different styles of wedding ring pillows.

They had a fantastic selection of centerpieces and champagne flutes for the bride and groom and guests. Along with the glassware I added beautiful candles to make each table setting as elegant as possible. If you need favors for themed weddings or destination weddings, they have that too. There everything, including favor boxes for beach, winter, garden and other themed weddings. There are beautiful accessories for beach, winter, garden and other themed ceremonies and receptions. There were great little novelty favors too, like Vegas wedding gifts for friends and family, keychains, photo frames and more with a Las Vegas theme to them.

As wedding favors I chose crystal paperweights for all of our guests. Athough the favors were an added touch of elegance all on their own, I packaged them in exquisite little favor boxes. My favorite item I purchased was our cake topper. I think I liked the topper better than I did the cake itself. The butterfly with the beautiful satin bow really made an exquisite wedding cake topper.

I got so many compliments on my décor and wedding favor gifts. I got so many thank you’s from our guests for their gifts. But you know what else was so great about this place, they have a lot more than cake toppers and a ring pillow. There are ideas and selections for all parties, including showers, birthday and girls night out parties. I didn’t know it at the time, but I found out that’s where my sister got all of her party supplies and party favors for my bridal shower she threw for me. Our mom gave her the idea of going online to find everything she needed for my bridal shower she was throwing for me, just like she did for me with my wedding supplies.

In about three and a half weeks I’m giving my sister a baby shower and I already know where I’m getting the decorations, favors and other party supplies from. I’m pretty sure on the items I’ve checked out so far, and plan to order them some time next week. That’s when she finds out if she is having a girl or boy. Then I can order the favors in pink or blue, even though there are other neutral colors I could choose.

I want to thank my mom for pointing me towards this easy way to shop, it saved me a lot of time and money. I also want to thank her for helping with the reception arrangements and filling out all those thank you cards. Thanks for all of your wonderful suggestions and all of your help, mom. I promise I’ll keep this place in mind when it’s time for our anniversary parties. There are great little suggestions for anniversaries, even decorations, cake toppers and little thank you gifts. I found suggestions that would be perfect for our mom and dayd’s 30th wedding anniversary party. My sister and I should get together and discuss it. Their 30th isn’t that far away, no use waiting until the last minute.
